PETG combines strength and toughness similar to ABS with ease of printing close to PLA. It is impact-resistant, has good chemical resistance, and thanks to its slight flexibility, it withstands stress better without cracking.

Parameters are based on official data of the WORCAM PETG series and typical PETG settings:

• Nozzle temperature: 230–245 °C
• Bed temperature: 75–85 °C
• Recommended printing speed: up to approx. 80 mm/s (40–60 mm/s recommended for high-quality surface)
• Fan: low to medium power (0–50% depending on model geometry)
• Bed: textured/smooth PEI, glass with suitable adhesive, textured surfaces

When printing taller or more massive parts, we recommend reducing the speed, limiting airflow around the model, and ensuring good cooling only where needed for detail quality.

Material properties of PETG

• very good mechanical strength and toughness
• higher temperature resistance than PLA (parts deform less in higher ambient temperatures)
• good chemical resistance to common chemicals
• low shrinkage and minimal deformation during printing
