The printer arrives assembled, squared and precisely tuned at the factory. Initial setup takes about 20 minutes, so you can start printing right away.
Full-auto calibration
The printer calibrates itself before every print. It measures the nozzle height above the bed, levels the bed, suppresses resonance and tunes nozzle pressure, all automatically.
Auto bed leveling | Auto Z-offset
The printer probes the bed with the nozzle itself and measures the exact first-layer height. No paper or manual knob turning needed.
Sensors in the toolhead and heatbed measure vibration on both axes before every print. The result is clean edges without ringing, even at high speed.
The algorithm calibrates flow dynamics from nozzle pressure. No test patterns to print and no best result to pick by hand.
The printer checks belt tension from the vibration frequency. If a belt is loose, it notifies you and the auto belt tensioner sets it right.
Loading and unloading filament is fully automated, with no manual temperature settings.

Most filaments that do not need an enclosure: PLA, PETG, TPU and their support materials. ABS, ASA, PC, PA and PET, which require higher bed and chamber temperatures, are not recommended.
AMS is enclosed and AMS lite is open. AMS lite connects to A1-series printers directly. AMS, AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT connect to the A1 mini through the AMS HUB (SA013) accessory.
With AMS lite, up to 4 colors or materials in one model, one spool per slot.
