    Smooth PEI Plate for a Perfect First Layer on A1 Mini

    Bambu Lab Smooth PEI Plate for A1 Mini is a flexible steel plate with a smooth PEI film that ensures excellent adhesion of the first layer and creates a beautifully matte-smooth bottom surface of the print. Strong magnetic attraction holds the plate firmly on the heated bed and helps minimize deformation.

    Maintenance and Tips

    • Clean regularly with mild detergent and water, or IPA; degreasing significantly improves adhesion.
    • Do not use acetone – it can damage the PEI surface.
    • Let the plate cool down for a few minutes after printing before removing the print; this protects the surface.
    • If bubbles appear on the bottom side of the film, heat the bed to ≥80 °C for several hours – they often disappear.
    • Light sanding with ~600 grit can restore adhesion to a worn surface.
