Double-sided (smooth + textured) PEI plate for A1 mini

The Bambu Lab Dual-Texture PEI Plate combines two of the most sought-after surface finishes in one sheet – a smooth PEI side for a clean, matte bottom surface and accurate first layer, and a textured PEI side for strong adhesion and a self-release effect after cooling. The A1 mini variant is sized for a usable area of 180 × 180 mm.

Recommended settings (A1 mini)

The values below are based on the manufacturer’s recommendations; adjust other slicer parameters to suit the model and filament.

Care and maintenance

• To restore adhesion, regularly wash the surface with warm water and dish soap; dry thoroughly after washing.
• Do not use acetone – it can damage PEI.
• After printing, let the plate cool (to approximately room temperature) before removing the model.
• The plate is a consumable part; cosmetic wear (scratches, etc.) is not covered by warranty.

• Textured PEI coating 0.075 mm + smooth PEI sheet 0.125 mm on spring stainless steel.
• Steel plate thickness (A1 mini): 0.4 mm.
• Colors: gold (textured) and dark gray/charcoal (smooth).
• A1 mini packaging: 220 × 190 × 15 mm, weight approx. 0.23 kg.

Tip: For very “sticky” materials (e.g., TPU), use a release layer (glue) even on the textured side to avoid damaging the coating.
