The printer arrives assembled, squared and precisely tuned at the factory. Initial setup takes about 20 minutes, so you can start printing right away.
Full-auto calibration
The printer calibrates itself before every print. It measures the nozzle height above the bed, levels the bed, suppresses resonance and tunes nozzle pressure, all automatically.
Auto bed leveling | Auto Z-offset
The printer probes the bed with the nozzle itself and measures the exact first-layer height. No paper or manual knob turning needed.
Sensors in the toolhead and heatbed measure vibration on both axes before every print. The result is clean edges without ringing, even at high speed.
The algorithm calibrates flow dynamics from nozzle pressure. No test patterns to print and no best result to pick by hand.
The printer checks belt tension from the vibration frequency. If a belt is loose, it notifies you and the auto belt tensioner sets it right.
Loading and unloading filament is fully automated, with no manual temperature settings.
AMS lite
The all-new AMS lite is elegant and reliable, making multi-color 3D printing from up to 4 spools accessible to everyone. RFID sync applies the ideal profile for Bambu Lab filaments automatically.
Active flow rate compensation | Eddy current pressure sensor
A high-resolution, high-frequency sensor measures the pressure in the nozzle. The algorithm continuously compensates the flow rate, so extrusion stays accurate even in sharp corners.
10,000 mm/s² acceleration | 14-minute Benchy
All-metal rails, a rigid frame, a nozzle pressure sensor, accelerometers and advanced motion control. Together they print a 14-minute Benchy in good quality straight out of the box, without specialized filaments.

Most filaments that do not need an enclosure: PLA, PETG, TPU and their support materials. ABS, ASA, PC, PA and PET, which require higher bed and chamber temperatures, are not recommended.
AMS is enclosed and AMS lite is open. AMS lite connects to A1-series printers directly. AMS, AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT connect to the A1 mini through the AMS HUB (SA013) accessory.
With AMS lite, up to 4 colors or materials in one model, one spool per slot.
