Prof. Lab PETG Oak 1 kg

Professional PETG filament Prof. Lab PETG Oak is designed for reliable 3D printing of functional parts and aesthetic models with a color inspired by oak wood. Thanks to PETG properties, it combines excellent mechanical resistance, thermal stability, and relatively easy printing, making it a great choice for home users and professional workshops alike.

    Main advantages of PETG material

    • Higher strength and toughness than PLA – less brittle, better resists impacts and long-term stress.
    • Better thermal resistance than PLA – suitable for parts used in warmer environments (commonly around 70–80 °C with proper part design).
    • Good chemical resistance – suitable for parts in contact with moisture, water, or common chemicals.
    • Low shrinkage – less deformation and warping compared to ABS, a closed chamber is not required.
    • Good layer adhesion – strong, compact prints.

Appearance and use of Oak shade

The Oak shade resembles the color of oak wood, which is ideal for:

    • decorative elements and home accessories
    • furniture models, architectural scale models
    • handles, holders, caps, and frames with a "wooden" look
    • props, cosplay, design prototypes

Although it is a solid PETG without actual wood fibers, it is color-suitable where you want to combine the technical properties of PETG and the visual impression of wood.

    Recommended print settings

Specific values may vary depending on the printer, nozzle, and conditions; recommended starting settings for PETG:

    • Nozzle temperature: approx. 220–245 °C
    • Bed temperature: approx. 75–90 °C
    • Print speed: 40–70 mm/s
    • Cooling: 30–70 % (turn on after the first layers)
    • Print bed: PEI, glass (glue / spray recommended for better adhesion)

PETG tends to be more sensitive to moisture, so it is recommended to keep the spool dry and, if necessary, dry the filament before printing.

    Typical applications

    • functional and mechanically stressed components
    • technical parts, holders, grips, covers
    • outdoor use (thanks to better UV and moisture resistance than PLA)
    • design and decorative items in oak wood color

    Compatibility

The filament is suitable for most desktop FDM/FFF 3D printers using 1,75 mm diameter filament and allowing PETG printing.

    Technical parameters

    • Material: PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol)
    • Color / shade: Oak
    • Filament diameter: 1,75 mm
    • Filament weight on spool: 1 kg
    • Printing technology: FDM / FFF
    • Recommended nozzle temperature: approximately 220–245 °C
    • Recommended bed temperature: approximately 75–90 °C
    • Suitable use: functional parts, technical components, decorations, prototypes, scale models

    Benefits for the user

    • Universal PETG for everyday printing – suitable for both beginners and advanced users.
    • Attractive oak shade – ideal when you want to aesthetically match a technical part with the interior or wooden elements.
    • Good printing reliability – low risk of layer cracking and deformation.
    • Wide compatibility with common 3D printer brands.

    Key properties:

    • High-quality PETG filament in Oak shade for universal use
    • High strength and toughness, less brittle than PLA
    • Good thermal and chemical resistance suitable for functional parts
    • Low shrinkage and good layer adhesion for reliable printing
    • Suitable for most FDM/FFF 3D printers with 1,75 mm filament diameter
    • Attractive "wooden" look for decorations, models, and design prototypes
