Prof. Lab PETG Coffee 1 kg – durable filament in an elegant coffee color

Prof. Lab PETG Coffee is a versatile PETG filament in an attractive coffee brown color, combining durability and toughness with very good printability on standard FDM/FFF 3D printers. It is suitable for functional parts, covers, holders, technical prototypes, and aesthetic models where you want to combine mechanical resistance with a pleasant, natural-looking shade.

PETG from Prof. Lab comes from the same quality line as other color variants commonly sold on the market – it offers a stable filament diameter, consistent winding, and reliable printing without significant odor.

Main benefits of PETG Prof. Lab Coffee

    • Combination of PLA and ABS properties – easy print settings, but higher toughness and thermal resistance
    • Strength and impact resistance – suitable for functional and mechanically stressed parts
    • Excellent layer adhesion – minimizes delamination even in taller prints
    • Low shrinkage – less risk of warping, suitable even for larger models
    • Moisture and chemical resistance – a good choice for practical use in the home and workshop
    • Coffee brown shade – ideal for design and decorative items (interior accessories, holders, packaging, technical covers)
    • Vacuum-packed with desiccant – protection against moisture, the filament is ready for immediate use

    Recommended use

PETG Coffee from Prof. Lab is particularly suitable for:

    • functional home parts (holders, handles, organizers, covers)
    • technical prototypes and structural components
    • small production jigs and assembly aids
    • decorative and design objects in natural and "coffee" tones
    • parts for partial outdoor use (with limited long-term UV exposure)

    Printing properties

PETG is a material that prints slightly easier than ABS, but requires slightly higher temperatures than PLA. Prof. Lab PETG is optimized for standard FDM/FFF printers.

    Recommended print settings (indicative):

    • Filament diameter: 1,75 mm
    • Nozzle temperature: approx. 220–245 °C (start e.g. at 235 °C and fine-tune based on results)
    • Bed temperature: approx. 75–90 °C
    • Print speed: 40–60 mm/s (for high-quality details, use the lower end)
    • Cooling: mild to moderate (often 30–60 %, depending on part geometry)

For best results, it is advisable to use adhesive spray, a glue stick, or a textured bed, which help with reliable first-layer adhesion.

    Appearance and color – Coffee

The Coffee shade resembles the tones of roasted coffee and feels warm, natural, and elegant. It is a great choice if you don't want classic black or gray, but still prefer a subtle, original shade.

    Suitable for:

    • interior accessories (stands, flower pots, decorations, holders)
    • furniture models and architectural concepts
    • partially "wood"-themed projects where you want a warm brown look without using wood composites

    Packaging and quality

    • the filament is wound on a standard-sized plastic spool
    • vacuum-packed with desiccant – protection against moisture during storage and transport
    • manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 and in a material composition meeting RoHS requirements (no hazardous substances)
