Prusament PETG Ocean Blue 1kg – premium PETG from Prusa Research

Prusament PETG Ocean Blue 1kg is a high-end filament developed and manufactured directly by Prusa Research. Thanks to a strictly controlled extrusion process with guaranteed diameter tolerance of ±0.02 mm, you get an exceptionally consistent material that prints great and ensures repeatable results even for demanding projects.

The elegant ocean blue (Ocean Blue) color will give your prints a professional look – whether you are printing functional prototypes, electronic enclosures, mechanical parts, or decorations.

Key benefits of Prusament PETG Ocean Blue

    • Top-tier diameter accuracy ±0.02 mm – stable extrusion and perfectly consistent layers.
    • High toughness and strength – ideal for mechanically stressed and functional parts.
    • Good thermal resistance – suitable for parts used in a warmer environment compared to PLA.
    • Low warping and deformation – easy print tuning, excellent layer adhesion.
    • Excellent chemical resistance – resists water, common chemicals, and oils (typical for PETG).
    • Premium quality control – each spool has its own measurement record available online.
    • Universal use – for hobby, prototyping, technical parts, and small-batch production.

    Recommended applications

Prusament PETG Ocean Blue is especially suitable for:

    • functional and structural components (mounts, brackets, jigs, covers, couplings),
    • parts exposed to moderate heat (car interior, workshop tools, technical covers),
    • prototypes and final products that need to be strong and tough, not just visual,
    • design and aesthetic models – thanks to the rich and clean ocean blue color,
    • prints for everyday use, where PLA no longer suffices in terms of durability.

    Printing recommendations

Specific values may vary depending on the printer and conditions, but typical settings for Prusament PETG are:

    • Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–250 °C
    • Bed temperature: approx. 70–90 °C
    • Print speed: usually 40–60 mm/s
    • Fan: rather lower RPM (medium or reduced cooling) for better layer adhesion

For best adhesion a clean and degreased surface is recommended (e.g. PEI), or the use of a suitable adhesive depending on the build plate type.

    Why choose Prusament

    • In-house production at Prusa Research – full control over the composition and extrusion process.
    • Quality transparency – a detailed measurement record is available for each spool.
    • Long-term stability of colors and parameters – ideal for repeated production of identical parts.
    • Compatibility – perfectly tuned for Original Prusa printers, but suitable for most FFF/FDM printers with 1.75 mm filament.

If you are looking for a reliable and durable material with premium consistency, Prusament PETG Ocean Blue 1kg is an excellent choice for demanding users and professionals.
