Limitations and recommendations

• PETG tends to string – if you encounter issues, we recommend:
  • drying the filament (approx. 60–65 °C for several hours),
  • fine-tuning retraction and nozzle temperature.
• Bridging usually isn’t as clean as with PLA – it is advisable to design models with this limitation in mind.
• Adhesion to smooth surfaces (glass, smooth PEI) can be very strong – use a suitable release agent (glue stick, spray) and follow your printer manufacturer’s recommendations.
