Compared with the P1P, the P1S has a fully enclosed print chamber and stronger cooling: an auxiliary part cooling fan, a chamber regulator fan that stabilizes the chamber temperature, and a control board fan. It also has an activated carbon filter for filaments such as ABS that release odors and harmful gases while printing.
The P1S is based on the P1P with an enclosure and improved cooling. Printing glass or carbon fiber reinforced filaments is not recommended until the extruder and hotend are upgraded. The X1-Carbon adds a micro lidar for advanced AI error detection and more convenient touchscreen control.

Bambu Lab P1S is designed for high-temperature and multi-color printing. This printer has an enclosed print chamber that allows printing high-temperature filaments such as ABS without affecting the surrounding environment. P1S is also equipped with a stronger cooling solution, which includes an auxiliary cooling fan for cooling prints, a chamber fan regulator for stabilizing the internal chamber temperature, and a control board fan to assist in cooling the control board. Additionally, P1S is equipped with an active carbon filter for printing filaments such as ABS, which tend to emit odors and harmful gases during the printing process.
Furthermore, it is capable of working with various materials such as PLA, ABS, PETG, Nylon and more. Bambu Lab P1S is also very compact and easily portable, with dimensions of only 30 x 30 x 40 cm. It is fully compatible with popular 3D modeling and slicing software such as Cura, Simplify3D or PrusaSlicer. However, your main working SW will be BambuStudio, which is based on PrusaSlicer.
