• Brittleness compared to PETG/ASA/ABS – for impact-stressed or flexible parts, PETG, ASA, or other technical materials are more suitable.

For applications with higher thermal or mechanical stress, we therefore recommend choosing WORCAM PETG or ASA filament.

Storage

PLA is partially hygroscopic, so to maintain peak print quality, we recommend:

• storing the spool in a dry place away from direct sunlight,
• keeping it in an airtight bag with a moisture absorber after opening,
• if not used for a long time, potentially drying the filament briefly before printing (e.g., in a filament dryer).
