• Nozzle temperature: approx. 195–215 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 50–60 °C (on a well-tuned printer, it is often possible to print without heating or at 40–50 °C)
• Printing speed: usually 40–70 mm/s depending on the model type
• Cooling: 80–100% (stronger airflow for better details and bridges)

Advantages of WORCAM PLA compared to other materials

• Easier printing than ABS or ASA – no need for an enclosed chamber
• Lower risk of deformation – thanks to low thermal shrinkage
• Suitable for fine details and thin-walled models
• Extremely high nozzle temperatures are not required

PLA material limitations

• Lower temperature resistance – at temperatures around 50–60 °C, the material may soften (unsuitable for example on a car dashboard)
• Brittler than PETG or ABS – PETG/ASA/ABS is more suitable for flexible or impact-stressed parts

Storage

PLA is partially hygroscopic – to maintain optimal print quality, we recommend:

• storing the spool in a dry place and away from direct sunlight
• keeping it in an airtight bag with a moisture absorber after opening
