Prusament PLA+ MATT Pink 1 kg – premium matte PLA+ filament

Prusament PLA+ MATT Pink is a special variant of PLA material developed in cooperation with Prusa Research. It combines the easy printing of classic PLA with improved toughness and strength and adds a stylish matte surface that significantly reduces layer visibility. This makes it a great choice for aesthetic models, design accessories, decorations, figurines, and prototypes. The matte pink color feels soft and elegant, making it excellent for interior decorations, fashion accessories, gifts, merch, cosplay accessories, and printing models for children.

    Main advantages and features

    • Easy printing even for beginners – PLA+ prints without complications, requiring no enclosed chamber or special nozzle.
    • Matte surface – reduces glare and layer highlighting, prints look "cleaner" and more professional.
    • Higher toughness than standard PLA – better layer adhesion and slightly higher resistance to impact and bending.
    • Low warping – suitable for larger models, adheres well to the bed with proper preparation.
    • Excellent for detailed printing – thanks to the low printing temperature, fine details and small parts can be printed.
    • Made in CZ – the filament is manufactured in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on quality and stable diameter.

    Recommended use

    • Decorations and interior accessories – vases, statues, design elements, organizers.
    • Prototypes and presentation models – product concepts, covers, design parts.
    • Figurines and models – gaming miniatures, cosplay props, collectible models.
    • Educational and hobby projects – school aids, projects for clubs and makerspaces.
Thanks to its matte appearance, it perfectly masks minor surface imperfections and is ideal where you want to achieve a polished, "finished" look without demanding post-processing.

    Printing settings (guideline)

Settings are based on recommendations for PLA/PLA+ materials from Prusa/Prusament and may vary slightly depending on the specific printer and conditions.
    • Nozzle temperature: 190–210 °C
    • Bed temperature: 50–60 °C
    • Print speed: up to approx. 150–200 mm/s (recommended to start lower, e.g., 60–80 mm/s for best quality)
    • Cooling: 100% fan after the first layers
    • Recommended surface: smooth, textured, or satin PEI sheet; can also be printed on glass (with a suitable adhesive layer)
Always thoroughly degrease the bed before printing (isopropyl alcohol or dish soap water) and check the correct calibration of the first layer.

    Limitations and recommendations

    • Lower heat resistance – as with classic PLA, the material starts to soften above approximately 55–60 °C; it is not suitable for parts exposed to long-term higher temperatures (e.g., in a car in the sun).
    • Unsuitable for outdoor use – the combination of lower thermal and UV resistance means that long-term exposure to the sun can degrade the material.
    • Post-processing – wet sanding is recommended; during dry sanding, PLA overheats locally and may smear.

Tips for achieving best print quality

    • Print the first layers slower (20–30 mm/s) for perfect adhesion.
    • For colorful, matte PLA+ materials, it is often worth slightly lowering the nozzle temperature compared to classic PLA if stringing occurs.
    • For larger models, use a brim or raft if you have problems with corners lifting.
    • Store the filament in a dry place, ideally in a sealable box with desiccant.

Who is this filament suitable for?

    • Beginners who want a reliable and forgiving material.
    • Advanced users who appreciate a high-quality, matte surface and stable dimensions.
    • Designers and creators who need high-quality print appearance without demanding post-processing.
