The premium PLA filament Prusament PLA Prusa Orange 2kg is the iconic orange color of Prusa Research. The filament is manufactured directly on Prusa in‑house production lines with exceptionally strict quality control and a guaranteed diameter accuracy of ±0,02 mm. Thanks to this, you get consistent print results, minimal extrusion fluctuation, and perfectly smooth model surfaces.
This variant on a 2kg spool is ideal for long prints, 3D printer farms, or frequent use, as it reduces the need to change the spool and the risk of print interruption.
For printing on Original Prusa printers, simply use the pre‑configured Prusament PLA profiles in PrusaSlicer, which ensure excellent results without tuning.
Warning: A 2kg spool is significantly larger than a standard 1kg spool. For convenient use it is recommended to print a dedicated holder for 2kg spools, as it usually does not fit on a standard spool holder.
PLA is suitable anywhere where high heat resistance is not required (e.g. in a car behind a window or near heat sources).
