Prusa CORE One L – Critical Infrastructure Edition

Industrial 3D printer for critical infrastructure where data security is just as important as print quality.

Prusa CORE One L – Critical Infrastructure Edition is based on the professional large-format printer CORE One L, but is specially adapted for defense, aerospace and other highly secured operations. It offers a fully air‑gapped solution, all Wi‑Fi hardware removed, no internal camera, and a certified encrypted USB drive for data transfer – all with the goal of keeping sensitive models strictly offline and under your full control.

    Key features

    • Large print volume 300 × 300 × 330 mm
For large functional parts, jigs and prototypes in one piece, as well as for serial production of multiple parts at once.
    • Critical Infrastructure Edition security
      • Custom 32-bit xBuddy board without Wi‑Fi slot and related circuitry
      • No internal camera included
      • Certified, encrypted USB drive for secure offline transfer of print data
      • Suitable for defense industry, government, critical infrastructure and operations with strict security policies.
    • CoreXY kinematics and exoskeleton construction
A rigid steel exoskeleton, precise 0.9° stepper motors on the X/Y axes and high-quality linear rails ensure excellent dimensional accuracy and repeatability confirmed by CT measurements.
    • AC convection heated bed and actively heated chamber
Milled AC aluminum plate with even heat distribution and a pair of fans that create convection heating of the chamber up to 60 °C. Enables reliable printing of PC, ASA, PA (nylon) and other technical materials without warping and cracking.
    • Nextruder with high-flow nozzle
      • Direct Drive with a 10:1 planetary gearbox for precise material dosing
      • High-flow brass Prusa Nozzle CHT 0.4 mm installed as standard + durable 0.4mm abrasive nozzle included
      • Quick-change nozzle system for fast switching between materials and diameters.
    • Optimized for high speed without loss of strength
Thanks to CoreXY kinematics, Input Shaper and internally tuned profiles, the printer prints fast but with an emphasis on strength, layer adhesion and industrial usability of parts, not just record speeds.
    • Dual feeding mode, easy printing of flexible filaments
A physical switch that bypasses the primary filament sensor and opens a wider path for flexible materials (TPU, TPE, etc.). A second sensor in the print head ensures detection of filament runout.
    • Fully automatic first-layer calibration
The Load Cell sensor in combination with Mesh Bed Leveling takes care of automatic bed tramming and first layer adjustment – quick commissioning, minimal operator error.
    • Designed for 24/7 industrial operation
Experience from more than 600–700 printers in the company farm has been incorporated into the design for maximum uptime, easy maintenance and long service life. No glued parts, everything disassemblable with standard tools, guaranteed availability of spare parts.
    • Manufactured and assembled in the EU and USA, audited quality
Electronics including the custom mainboard are produced on the in-house PCB production line in Prague, final assembly takes place in Prague (EU) and Delaware (USA). Production is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018.
    • No vendor lock‑in, open ecosystem
No closed “walled garden”. You can use any filament (PLA, PETG, PC, ASA, PA etc.) from any manufacturer and any slicer – everything fully under your control.
