Product Description

Double-sided CORE One L textured PEI powder-coated steel sheet is an original magnetic spring steel sheet with a powder-applied PEI layer, designed for the Prusa CORE One L 3D printer. The textured/sandblasted surface ensures reliable model adhesion while maintaining high resistance to mechanical damage. The PEI layer is applied directly to the metal, so when in contact with a hot nozzle, heat is effectively dissipated into the steel core and the surface is less prone to damage. The textured structure is transferred to the bottom side of the prints, which is particularly popular for functional parts and technical prints. After printing and cooling the sheet, most models will release on their own or can be very easily removed by gently bending the sheet.

Recommended Use

The textured PEI sheet is especially suitable for:

• PETG and CPE – excellent adhesion without the need for glue.
• ASA / ABS / PC / PA (Nylon) – very good adhesion at the correct bed and chamber temperatures.
• Functional parts – non-slip textured structure on the bottom of the part.

For PLA:

• parts with a small contact area are recommended to be printed with a brim,
• on large areas, edge warping may occur – a brim, higher bed temperature, and a sufficiently warm chamber help.

Warnings and Maintenance

• Never clean with acetone! This could lead to irreversible damage to the PEI.
• Use isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a non-abrasive cloth for cleaning.
• The warranty only applies to sheets defective upon receipt. Grooves, scratches, dents, and other cosmetic defects caused by use are not covered by the warranty.
• When switching between smooth and textured sheets, it is necessary to re-calibrate the Z-axis.
