Professional Lab PETG CF Purple 1 kg is a technical composite PETG filament reinforced with carbon fibers for strong, dimensionally stable, and matte prints in an attractive purple color. Ideal for functional parts, jigs, brackets, RC models, or technical prototypes where a combination of high stiffness, durability, and precise geometry is required. Thanks to the good printability of PETG and low shrinkage, it is suitable for most FDM/FFF printers with a filament diameter of 1.75 mm (hardened nozzle recommended).

Professional Lab PETG CF Purple 1 kg

Professional Lab PETG CF Purple is a composite PETG filament reinforced with carbon fiber (CF), which combines the easy setup and reliable printing of PETG with significantly higher stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability. The purple shade with a matte surface gives your functional and design parts a professional technical look.

This material is designed for demanding technical and functional applications – brackets, jigs, machine components, covers, RC and modeling parts, robotics, or prototypes where parts need to hold their shape long-term, withstand mechanical stress, and print well at the same time.

    Key features

    • PETG + carbon fiber (CF) – composite material for high strength and stiffness
    • Matte surface – excellently masks layers, prints look professional and "technical"
    • Low shrinkage and excellent dimensional stability – minimal warping even for larger parts
    • High mechanical resistance and toughness – suitable for stressed functional parts
    • Good thermal resistance – for parts exposed to increased temperatures
    • Moisture and chemical resistance – suitable even for parts in more demanding environments
    • Filament diameter 1.75 mm, weight 1 kg – compatible with most FDM/FFF 3D printers

Warning: Carbon fibers are abrasive – for long-term printing, it is necessary to use a hardened / tempered nozzle.

    Recommended use

Professional Lab PETG CF Purple is ideal for:

    • functional machine and structural parts
    • brackets, mounts, jigs, and assembly fixtures
    • RC models, drone parts, and modeling applications
    • robotic components and technical prototypes
    • durable covers, boxes, electronics enclosures
    • design technical parts with a matte surface in purple color

Thanks to reasonable printing demands (compared to e.g., nylon or PC), the filament is suitable for both advanced hobby users and professional prototyping and production facilities.

    Printing recommendations

For the best results with PETG + CF from Professional Lab, the following is generally recommended:

    • Nozzle temperature: approx. 255–270 °C (start around 260 °C and fine-tune according to the printer)
    • Bed temperature: 70–90 °C (typically ~80 °C)
    • Printing speed: 30–70 mm/s – for best quality, rather medium values
    • Bed surface: PEI sheet, glass with glue / adhesive
    • Cooling: 20–50 % depending on part character (for strength, less cooling)
    • Nozzle: hardened steel / ruby / other durable material, recommended diameter ≥ 0.4 mm

Specific settings may vary depending on the type of printer, extruder, and slicer profile – we recommend doing a small test print and finely adjusting temperature and speed based on the results.

    Technical parameters

    • Material: PETG + CF (carbon fiber)
    • Filament diameter: 1.75 mm
    • Diameter tolerance: typically ±0.03 mm
    • Spool weight (net material): 1 kg
    • Color: Purple
    • Surface type: matte
    • Recommended nozzle temperature: approx. 255–270 °C
    • Recommended bed temperature: approx. 70–90 °C
    • Printer types: FDM/FFF 3D printers with 1.75 mm filament diameter

    Advantages over regular PETG

Compared to standard PETG, Professional Lab PETG CF offers:

    • higher modulus of elasticity and stiffness – parts bend less
    • better dimensional stability – more precise parts with lower deformation
    • matte surface – aesthetically cleaner prints, less visible layers
    • better stability for larger parts due to lower warping

It is thus a great choice if regular PETG is not enough and you need a more advanced technical material, but do not want to go into significantly more demanding filaments (e.g., nylon, PC, PEEK).

Who is the filament suitable for

    • Advanced hobby users who want to take their prints to a higher level
    • Makerspaces, schools, and universities for technical projects and prototyping
    • Service centers, workshops, and small productions that print functional parts to order
    • Designers and developers who need quick verification of functional parts before production from final material

Professional Lab PETG CF Purple allows you to print strong, reliable, and visually attractive prints where common materials would not be enough.

    Key features:

    • Composite PETG filament with carbon fiber (CF) for high stiffness and strength of prints
    • Attractive purple color with a matte surface that masks layers well
    • Low shrinkage and high dimensional stability – minimal warping even for larger parts
    • Suitable for functional machine parts, brackets, jigs, RC, and modeling components
    • Good thermal resistance and resistance to moisture and chemicals
    • 1.75 mm diameter, 1 kg spool, compatible with most FDM/FFF printers
    • Requires a durable (hardened) nozzle due to the abrasiveness of carbon fibers
