Auto venting
Even a precisely calibrated printer faces mechanical wear and variance over time. With the Vision Encoder, H2S reaches distance-independent motion accuracy under 50 μm and compensates mechanical drift automatically during calibration.
Auto Hole/Contour Compensation minimizes tolerances and keeps hole dimensions at machine-shop precision. Fit shafts, bearings and fasteners without trial and error.
The extruder servo motor and high-resolution eddy current sensors at the nozzle measure nozzle pressure and calibrate PA parameters for each filament, for smoother surfaces and sharper edges.
Active Vibration Compensation neutralizes micro-vibrations and resonance in real time, keeping print quality high at higher speeds.

The Bambu Lab PMSM servo system samples resistance and position at 20 kHz and continuously modulates electromagnetic torque. It stabilizes extrusion and detects filament grinding or clogs in real time.
23 sensors and 3 cameras
H2S monitors everything from filament feeding to chamber temperature. Before each job, its camera also checks the build plate for debris and identifies the plate type.
Flap-switch airflow and filtration

Yes, H2S supports the 10W laser and the cutting module. It does not support the 40W laser.
Yes, with the Laser Upgrade Kit. The kit uses an external air pump connected to the printer by an air tube. After the upgrade, the printer has the same functions and performance as the laser version.
No. Choose the model that fits your needs when ordering.
The first-generation AMS works with H2S for multi-color printing out of the box but does not support drying. AMS lite is not supported because of its different feeding mechanism and buffer.
Up to 4 AMS 2 Pro and 8 AMS HT units, 12 units with 24 slots in total, for printing with up to 24 colors.
They are compatible with H2D. The A1 hotend is similar but not fully compatible and is not recommended on H2 series printers. An H2 hotend can be used on A1 with the H2 series silicone sock.
Yes. The H2D calibration plate for motion accuracy calibration is compatible too.
No. You can still start prints because the printer has built-in storage. Without a USB drive, recording and time-lapse, starting prints over LAN, sending files from Bambu Studio for storage and log export are unavailable. The drive must support USB 2.0 or later with write speeds above 10 MB/s, formatted as FAT32 or exFAT.
The laser uses a high-energy beam that can ignite flammable materials. Never leave the machine unattended during laser work, keep flammable and explosive items away and follow the Bambu Lab laser safety guidelines.
