Bambu Lab A1
Full-auto calibration, multi-color printing with AMS lite and quiet operation. A spacious 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume and Bambu Lab quality without tuning.
Full-auto calibration
The printer calibrates itself before every print. It measures the nozzle height above the bed, levels the bed, suppresses resonance and tunes nozzle pressure, all automatically.
Auto bed leveling | Auto Z-offset
The printer probes the bed with the nozzle itself and measures the exact first-layer height. No paper or manual knob turning needed.
Sensors in the toolhead and heatbed measure vibration on both axes before every print. The result is clean edges without ringing, even at high speed.
The algorithm calibrates flow dynamics from nozzle pressure. No test patterns to print and no best result to pick by hand.
The printer checks belt tension from the vibration frequency. If a belt is loose, it notifies you and the auto belt tensioner sets it right.
Loading and unloading filament is fully automated, with no manual temperature settings.
AMS lite
The all-new AMS lite is elegant and reliable, making multi-color 3D printing from up to 4 spools accessible to everyone. RFID sync applies the ideal profile for Bambu Lab filaments automatically.
AMS lite is included in the Combo variant.
Optional top mount | Printable parts
To save desk space, mount the AMS lite on the printer frame. A set of printable parts for a secure mount is free to download on MakerWorld.
Active flow rate compensation | Eddy current pressure sensor
A high-resolution, high-frequency sensor measures the pressure in the nozzle. The algorithm continuously compensates the flow rate, so extrusion stays accurate even in sharp corners.
10,000 mm/s² acceleration | 14-minute Benchy
All-metal rails, a rigid frame, a nozzle pressure sensor, accelerometers and advanced motion control. Together they print a 14-minute Benchy in good quality straight out of the box, without specialized filaments.
Touchscreen | Step-by-step guidance
A clear touchscreen interface walks you through everything you need. You do not have to be a 3D printing expert to use the printer.
Quick-swap hotend | Easy maintenance
The all-new quick-swap hotend pops in and out with a single clip. Replacing a nozzle or switching to another diameter takes moments.
Active motor noise canceling | Silent mode
Active motor noise canceling and silent mode bring the noise level below 48 dB. It is one of the quietest printers on the market, so it can print even in your living room.
Reliability | Covered drive system
All-metal linear rails and a covered drive system deliver Bambu Lab performance out of the box, consistent quality and long service life.
Prefer not to print through the cloud? In LAN mode you control the printer, watch the live view and send jobs on your local network only.
Block the camera with a simple mechanical slider. No sticker needed.
MakerWorld | Bambu Handy | Bambu Studio
MakerWorld offers thousands of models ready for your printer, and you start a print with one tap in the Bambu Handy app. You can also control the printer from Bambu Studio at any time.

256 × 256 × 256 mm, so you can print a whole helmet in one piece.
PLA, PETG, TPU and support materials such as PVA are ideal. ABS, ASA, PC or PA work only for smaller models with low infill, because the open frame does not hold heat and large parts may warp. For carbon or glass fiber filaments, replace the stainless steel nozzle with a hardened steel one.
Bambu Lab does not recommend enclosing the A1. The printer is designed for open operation.
The A1 supports one AMS lite, so it prints with up to 4 colors or materials in one model.
Yes, with the AMS HUB (SA013) accessory designed for A1-series printers.
Yes. A free set of printable parts with assembly instructions is available on MakerWorld. When mounted correctly, the spools do not slide and vibration calibration stays accurate.
No. A1 printers sold since January 30, 2024 already have the revised heatbed cable with Kevlar reinforcement and thicker insulation.
