Bambu Lab X2D - a new generation of 3D printing with dual nozzles

Bambu Lab X2D is the direct successor to the popular X1C and brings a major upgrade - a dual-nozzle system in a compact body. The main nozzle ensures precise printing, while the auxiliary nozzle handles supports or a second material. The result is cleanly removable supports, a combination of rigid and flexible materials in one model, and faster multicolor printing with minimal waste.

Dual-nozzle system

The Gear-and-Trigger nozzle change mechanism operates rapidly and without added weight. Thanks to the lightweight print head, surface quality remains high even at full speed. You can print PLA and TPU in one model - bags, grips, and covers come out of the printer ready to use.

Actively heated chamber and 300 °C nozzle

The heated chamber with an even temperature distribution of up to 65 °C enables reliable printing with engineering filaments such as ABS, ASA, and nylon. The nozzle, with a temperature of up to 300 °C, supports most demanding materials.

Servo extruder with PMSM motor

The exclusive servo system with a permanent magnet synchronous motor samples resistance and position at a frequency of 20 kHz and compensates for pressure fluctuations in real time. The result is smooth surfaces without visible artifacts, print after print.

Two nozzles, two colors - without AMS

Even without an AMS unit, X2D handles two-color and dual-material printing straight out of the box. The main nozzle prints the model, while the auxiliary nozzle prints supports from a different material or a second color. For multicolor printing with up to 25 colors, you can purchase AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT separately.

AI monitoring and 31 sensors

The camera system with AI detection checks the print surface before printing and monitors for spaghetti, material buildup on the nozzle, and blockages in the purge chute during printing. A total of 31 sensors monitor the entire filament path, temperatures, and machine safety.

Quiet and safe for indoor use

Three-stage filtration (G3 pre-filter, HEPA H12, activated carbon from coconut shells) and UL 2904 certification for indoor air quality. Active motor noise suppression keeps the noise level below 50 dB.

Expandable with AMS

X2D is fully compatible with AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT. Connecting AMS units provides automatic filament switching and printing with up to 25 colors. Up to 12 AMS units can be connected (24 slots). AMS is not included in this package and can be purchased separately.
