Candour PETG Matte White 1 kg is a premium PETG filament with a matte white surface, manufactured by the same manufacturer as Bambu Lab filaments. The material and shade of white match Bambu Lab PETG HF / PETG Basic White filament, making it ideal for users looking for an equivalent look and properties, but who do not need the original spool with NFC.

The matte surface helps hide layers and imperfections, gives prints a professional, "satin" look and reduces unwanted glare. PETG is also known for its higher toughness, water resistance, and weather resistance compared to PLA, making it suitable for functional parts and more demanding indoor and outdoor use.

Important: Candour spools do not have an NFC tag and have a different shape than original Bambu Lab spools – they cannot be used as a refill for Bambu Lab spools. However, for printing in AMS or on Bambu Lab printers, the filament is fully compatible as a standard 1kg spool.

Printing Recommendations

Parameters are based on typical values for PETG and reference settings for Bambu Lab PETG Basic/PETG HF:**

• Nozzle temperature: 240–270 °C
• Bed temperature: 65–75 °C
• Print speed: up to approx. 200–300 mm/s (depending on printer capabilities)
• Cooling: medium, according to model shape
• Print bed: PEI (smooth/textured), glass with suitable adhesive (glue, glue stick)

To reduce stringing and "blobs", we recommend:

• slightly increasing retraction compared to PLA,
• printing in a dry environment (PETG is slightly hygroscopic),
• eventually drying the filament before printing (e.g., 65 °C for several hours).

Compatibility with Bambu Lab

• Material corresponds to PETG for high-speed printing, so it is very well suited for Bambu Lab X1 / P1 / A1 and other fast FDM printers.
• In Bambu Studio, the Bambu Lab PETG profile can be used as a default and the temperatures and retraction can be finely tuned to your printer.
• The spool does not have NFC – the printer will not recognize it automatically, the material type must be set manually.
• Due to the different spool construction, it is not intended as a refill for original Bambu Lab spools.

Storage Tips

• Keep dry, ideally in a resealable bag or box with desiccant.
• Do not expose to direct sunlight and high temperatures for long periods.
