Candour PETG Matte Blue is a high-quality matte PETG filament designed for users who want to combine high strength, thermal resistance, and a professional matte look of prints. Due to its composition and color shade, it is based on the same material base as Bambu Lab PETG Matte / PETG HF Blue – it is used by the same manufacturer.

Unlike the original Bambu Lab spools, however, Candour has:

• no NFC tag – the filament works in Bambu printers in a mode without automatic material detection,
• a different spool – Candour spools cannot be used as a refill into original Bambu spools (AMS/loading spools),
• however, the same type of material and blue color shade is maintained, suitable for combinations with original prints from Bambu filament.

Printing settings (indicative)

Specific values may vary depending on the printer, hotend, and cooling. We always recommend printing a small test model and fine-tuning the temperature and flow.

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 240–260 °C (for high-speed printing, rather the upper limit)
• Bed temperature: approx. 70–90 °C
• Printing speed: commonly 60–120 mm/s, on high-speed printers even more with proper cooling
• Cooling: medium – too strong fan cooling can worsen adhesion between layers
• Bed: textured PEI, satin, or glass surface; recommended to use a suitable adhesive agent (glue, spray) for easier removal and surface protection.

Compatibility with Bambu Lab printers

• The material and shade are of the same type as Bambu Lab PETG Matte / PETG HF Blue, so they work well with profiles for PETG HF/Basic (after potential fine-tuning of temperature and flow).
• Without NFC chip – the filament loads as "Generic PETG" or a custom profile.
• The Candour spool is not a refill for original Bambu spools – it cannot be snapped in place of a refill winding; it is used as a standalone standard spool.
