PLA is a hard but more brittle material – it is not intended for highly stressed or flexible parts.

Packaging and storage

• The filament is supplied on a spool with a total weight of approx. 1,3 kg including the spool.
• Vacuum-packed with a silica gel bag for moisture protection.
• For long-term storage, we recommend keeping the spool in a resealable bag or box with a desiccant.

If it absorbs moisture, PLA can be gently dried in a filament dryer or an oven at approx. 40–45 °C for several hours (according to the manufacturer’s recommendations).
