Prof. Lab PETG White 5 kg is a high-capacity white PETG filament designed for reliable printing of large and functional parts. It combines high strength, toughness, and thermal resistance with very good interlayer adhesion and reasonable printing requirements.

Ideal for technical prints, prototypes, manufacturing tools, covers, holders, and functional parts where PLA is no longer sufficient, but you want to avoid the odor and warping issues of ABS.

Prof. Lab PETG White 5 kg

Professional PETG filament in White color on an extra-large 5 kg spool for long and uninterrupted print tasks. Thanks to a combination of high strength, toughness, and temperature resistance, it is suitable for functional and large parts in more demanding operations.

    Key features

    • Large 5 kg spool – ideal for long prints without frequent filament changes (series production, large models, printer farms).
    • PETG material – stronger and tougher than PLA, with better temperature resistance, yet without the typical warping and odor of ABS.
    • White color – universal clean appearance, suitable for design and technical parts, easily surface treated and painted.
    • Good layer adhesion – minimizes delamination even in taller objects, suitable for mechanically stressed parts.
    • Low shrinkage during printing – better dimensional accuracy for larger prints.
    • Suitable for most FDM/FFF 3D printers – standard filament diameter of 1.75 mm.

    Recommended use

    • functional prototypes and technical parts
    • holders, mounts, covers, and protective elements
    • jigs, templates, assembly and clamping fixtures
    • components for household, workshop, and light industry
    • large parts and long series on printer farms

    Printing recommendations

    • Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–250 °C (depending on printer and print speed)
    • Bed temperature: approx. 70–85 °C
    • Print bed: glass, PEI, textured sheet; it is advisable to use a separation layer (glue stick, 3Dlac, etc.) for easier removal of prints
    • Fan: low to medium power – for better strength and layer adhesion
    • Dry storage: PETG is sensitive to moisture – store in a closed bag or drybox

Advantages of PETG over PLA and ABS

    • higher mechanical resistance and toughness than PLA
    • better temperature resistance than PLA, more suitable for parts in warmer environments
    • less odor and deformation than ABS
    • good chemical resistance to common chemicals and cleaning agents

Who is Prof. Lab PETG White 5 kg suitable for

    • users who print in large volumes and do not want to constantly change spools
    • companies, workshops, and educational institutions with regular 3D printer operation
    • operators of custom 3D printing services and print farms
    • engineers and makers who need durable functional prototypes

Thanks to the large 5 kg spool and the universal properties of PETG, this filament is a great choice for long, reliable, and economically advantageous print series without compromising on print quality.

    Key features:

    • High-capacity 5 kg spool for long prints without filament replacement
    • White PETG filament suitable for technical and design prints
    • Higher strength, toughness, and thermal resistance than PLA
    • Good layer adhesion and low shrinkage during printing
    • Universal use in most FDM/FFF 3D printers with a diameter of 1.75 mm
    • Suitable for large, functional, and mechanically stressed parts
