This means that during vertical flammability testing, the material self-extinguishes within 10 seconds after the flame is removed, without dripping burning material. This makes it suitable for applications where safety and reduced risk of fire spread are key.

The natural variant has a semi-transparent, slightly yellowish appearance typical of uncolored PETG. It allows for visual inspection of internal structures, screw positions, or cabling and is suitable for electronics covers, junction boxes, technical models, or prototypes where translucency is desired.

Recommended Printing Parameters

• Printing speed: 30–60 mm/s (lower speed for more detailed and mechanically demanding parts)
• Layer height: 0.1–0.3 mm depending on desired detail
• Cooling fan: 0–40% (lower airflow for better layer adhesion)
• Print bed: PEI, glass with spray/glue, textured sheet – a light adhesive medium is recommended for easier part removal

To achieve the declared UL94 V0 properties, correct printing temperature and a sufficient number of perimeters and infill are required – for safety parts, we recommend at least 3–4 perimeters and an infill of 30% or more.

Tips for Printing and Storage

• It is advisable to dry the filament before printing (approx. 2–4 hours at 60–65 °C), especially if it has been exposed to moisture for a long time.
• Store in a sealed bag or box with silica gel – PETG, even in the FR variant, is partially hygroscopic.
• To maintain self-extinguishing properties, we do not recommend mixing it with other materials or adding foreign additives.
