Diode 10W

Both versions share the same machine, work area, speed, safety features and connectivity. They differ in the laser module in the box. The Diode 10W cuts basswood boards up to 5 mm thick in one pass, comes with a 24 V / 5 A power adapter and includes the cutting plate. The Diode 5W is mainly for engraving and comes with a 24 V / 3 A adapter.
No. We sell the white Basic edition of Falcon A1C without the AI camera. Camera positioning, material recognition and smart fill are only on the purple-grey AI Camera edition, and the camera cannot be added to the white edition later.
The diode modules engrave cardboard, wood, bamboo, rubber, leather, fabric, acrylic, painted metal and plastics. The Diode 10W module also cuts cardboard, wood, bamboo, leather, fabric, plastics and dark acrylic, but not transparent acrylic. The optional IR 1.2W module engraves gold, silver, brass, iron, aluminium, stainless steel, titanium and plastics.
The work area is 150 × 150 mm. The motorised platform takes objects up to 148 mm tall and carries up to 3 kg. Once you place the material, the platform moves to the right height and focuses by itself.
You control the machine from the free Falcon Design Space for Windows 10 and macOS 11 or later, the iOS and Android app, or LightBurn. It connects over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB-C, and you can also run a job from a USB flash drive without a computer.
Falcon A1C meets Class 1 laser safety with the cover closed. It has flame detection, tilt protection, a USB safety key, an emergency stop and overheat protection, and it pauses the job when the lid is opened. Creality still recommends wearing safety glasses while engraving, because the beam is exposed when you use the rotary kit.
For engraving metals, plastics and jewellery. The module is sold separately and comes with its own 24 V / 5 A power adapter. Above 35 °C ambient temperature, the machine may pause jobs with this module to protect it from overheating.
Creality Falcon A1C 10W is a desktop enclosed laser engraver for personalized gifts, name tags, coasters, leather accessories and small production runs. The 10-watt diode module handles detailed engraving and, compared to the 5W variant, offers greater power headroom for cutting wood and other suitable materials.
After the material is inserted, the machine automatically sets the correct working height. The height-controlled platform supports objects up to 148 mm, and the working area measures 150 x 150 mm. The module can be replaced without tools with a compatible 5W diode or 1.2W infrared variant.
The construction meets laser safety Class 1 during normal enclosed use. The machine monitors for flames and tilting and uses a USB safety lock. The maximum working speed reaches 15 000 mm/min.
The A1C can be controlled via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB and works with Falcon Design Space and LightBurn. The variant with an AI camera is sold separately; this SKU does not include it in its name or verified specifications, so the camera is not included in this specification.
The cutting result depends on the type of material, thickness, speed and number of passes. Always use extraction and do not process materials that release toxic or corrosive gases when heated.
