Creality CR-Scan Ferret Pro converts real objects into a digital 3D model that you can further edit, archive, or prepare for 3D printing. It is suitable for digitizing spare parts, decorations, sculptures, and figures, and works with objects approximately 15 cm to 2 m in size.

    Handheld scanning without cable limitations

The scanning head itself weighs just 105 g. Wireless connectivity makes it easier to move around a larger object, while shake-reduction technology helps maintain tracking even during natural hand movements. You can use the scanner at a workbench, in the workshop, or in the field.

Geometry and color in a single pass

Individual scan accuracy reaches up to 0,1 mm. The integrated 2Mpx color camera simultaneously captures 24-bit colors, so the resulting model can preserve the appearance of the original in addition to its shape. This is practical when scanning figures, products, artistic objects, or parts with pronounced texture.

    Ready for diverse conditions

Ferret Pro handles outdoor scanning in ambient lighting of up to 30 000 lux. The manufacturer also states that it can scan black and metallic objects without matting spray. Surfaces with few recognizable details may require markers or a suitably selected scanning mode for reliable tracking.

    Where Ferret Pro makes sense

    • creating materials for reverse engineering and spare parts
    • digitizing people, sculptures, and decorative objects
    • preparing models for further editing and 3D printing
    • documenting medium-sized and large objects

The scan result is always affected by the object's surface, lighting conditions, and the smoothness of the scanner's movement. Transparent or highly glossy surfaces may require preparation before scanning.
