Bambu Lab PLA Wood Rosewood is a premium PLA-based composite filament with fine wood powder, which gives your prints an authentic look and matte texture of dark rosewood. Ideal for decorations, models, design accessories, and prototypes that should look like real wood, but print as easily as classic PLA.
Bambu Lab PLA Wood Rosewood is a special PLA filament enriched with fine wood powder, which creates a realistic wood look and feel. The Rosewood shade resembles dark rosewood with a subtle grain, making it great for design objects, art models, decorations, and architectural models.
The filament is based on high-quality PLA from Bambu Lab, so it prints reliably like regular PLA, but thanks to the wood component, it offers a unique matte, warm surface. The fine particle fraction and precise diameter control ensure stable extrusion and good compatibility even with standard FDM printers.
For wood filaments in general, a moderate printing speed and reasonable retractions are recommended to minimize the risk of clogging. However, Bambu Lab uses fine particles and the filament is well optimized even for a standard 0,4 mm nozzle.
The filament is fully compatible with Bambu Lab printers (including AMS/AMS Lite/AMS 2 Pro) and can also be used on any FDM 3D printer with a 1,75 mm diameter and PLA printing support (Prusa, Creality, Anycubic, Artillery, etc.).
For longer nozzle life, a high-quality brass or hardened/steel nozzle is generally recommended for wood filaments, especially at high printing volumes.
Bambu Lab PLA Wood Rosewood is a great choice for everyone who wants prints with an authentic wood look, but at the same time wants to maintain the comfort of easy PLA printing.
