Bambu Lab PLA Silk Multi-Color Phantom Blue 1 kg is an exclusive dual-color PLA Silk filament that combines deep blue and black shades in one strand. Thanks to its silky, high-gloss surface, it gives your prints a premium look without the need for additional polishing or painting.

The filament is designed for Bambu Lab printers, but thanks to the standard PLA 1.75 mm diameter, it is fully usable on most common FDM 3D printers.

Recommended Print Settings

(default values, always adapt to your printer and profile)

• Nozzle temperature: 210–240 °C
• Bed temperature: 35–45 °C (with glue or a suitable adhesive layer)
• Recommended print speed: up to 250 mm/s (it is advisable to slow down printing for maximum gloss)
• Drying before printing: 55 °C for approx. 8 hours (recommended for best results)
• Storage: in a closed bag/box with silica gel, relative humidity < 20 %

Tips for Best Results

• For maximum gloss and less visible layers, reduce the printing speed compared to standard PLA.
• For decorative objects, choose more perimeters and lower infill – the surface will be optically higher quality.
• Experiment with spool orientation – by changing the filament feed direction, you can emphasize either the blue or black color component.
• Avoid using for functional parts exposed to temperatures above approx. 50 °C (e.g., in a car in the sun), PLA Silk is primarily an aesthetic material.
