The P1S made fast, reliable 3D printing the standard. The P2S builds on it with Bambu Lab second-generation technology: a new touchscreen, a servo extruder, cold air from outside the chamber and AI monitoring.
5" touchscreen | 2nd-gen UI
The P2S has a fully upgraded touchscreen, a more powerful processor and the intuitive second-generation UI. Interactions are smoother, graphics richer and step-by-step instructions clearer.
PMSM servo architecture | DynaSense extruder
The PMSM servo extruder delivers up to 8.5 kg of extrusion force, 70 % more than its predecessor, and dramatically improves high-flow extrusion stability. The proprietary servo architecture samples resistance and position 20,000 times per second, detecting filament grinding and clogs in real time.
Active flow compensation | Eddy current pressure sensor
The P2S calibrates flow dynamics with a high-resolution, high-frequency eddy current sensor. Algorithms adjust the flow rate from its readings, so extrusion stays precise and consistent across every layer and corner.
Cold-air intake | Cooling mode
Traditional cooling recirculates the hot air inside the chamber. The Adaptive Airflow System in the P2S draws cool air directly from outside. Cooling efficiency rises considerably, so you can print low-temperature filaments with the door closed without worrying about overhangs or clogged nozzles.
Heat preservation | Carbon filter
A flap-controlled airflow system seals heat inside the chamber while continuously filtering the internal air through a high-performance carbon filter. Demanding engineering filaments prone to warping print with confidence, and the air in your workspace stays clean.
AI error detection | 2 TOPS NPU
The P2S introduces advanced computer vision that actively detects common printing issues such as spaghetti or filament clumping on the nozzle. It also checks your print settings before the start, so every job begins safely and correctly.
Quick-swap hotend | One-clip design
A single clip releases the whole hotend including the heatsink, with no wiring to disconnect. Nozzle changes take a fraction of the time and the risk of wiring mistakes is gone.
Stage lighting | 1080p high-frame-rate camera
Stronger LED lighting dramatically improves the clarity of the live view and timelapses. Paired with a high-frame-rate camera and dual-band Wi-Fi, you can comfortably monitor the printer remotely and capture beautifully lit timelapses for social media.

Both the extruder gears and the pre-installed nozzle are hardened steel, so they handle carbon and glass fiber filaments.
A single AMS 2 Pro connected with the 6-pin cable dries filament while the printer is in standby. Print functions pause during drying. To dry in several AMS 2 Pro units at once, additional official Bambu Lab power adapters are needed for the other units.
Plate recognition has been improved on the P2S. Older plates do not support type recognition, but their dimensions are the same, so they can still be used for printing.
Yes, the mounting points are ready. The official auxiliary cooling fan is available as an upgrade.
The P2S is compatible with H2D nozzles, but not with A1 nozzles.
Up to 4 AMS 2 Pro and 4 AMS HT units, 8 units with 20 slots in total. That allows printing with up to 20 colours.
The P2S has no active chamber heating. Temperature is regulated by the enclosed chamber and an automatic flap that switches between internal and external air circulation.
For easier maintenance. Residue is much simpler to clean off the surface of a smooth steel rod.
