Two printing surfaces on one plate

The Weprinty Bambu Lab X1/P1/A1 textured PEI + PEY build plate expands the possibilities of your 3D printer with two different surfaces. One side features a durable textured PEI coating, while the other offers a smooth decorative PEY surface. Simply turn the plate over to choose the appearance of the first layer according to the specific model.

Textured PEI side

The textured PEI surface ensures good first-layer adhesion and creates an even matte texture on the underside of the print. It is suitable for everyday printing of functional parts, prototypes, holders and design models.

Smooth PEY side

The PEY side gives the bottom surface of the model a smooth, glossy and decorative appearance. It is best suited for PLA models where the first layer is also intended to be a visible part—for example, boxes, labels, decorations, pendants or flat design parts.

Flexible spring steel plate

The spring steel core securely holds the plate on the compatible printer's magnetic build platform. After printing, simply let the plate cool, remove it from the printer and gently bend it. This separates the model without lengthy scraping.

Compatibility

The plate measuring 257 × 257 mm is intended for:

• Bambu Lab X1
• Bambu Lab X1 Carbon
• Bambu Lab X1E
• Bambu Lab P1P
• Bambu Lab P1S
• Bambu Lab A1

Not compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini. The magnetic base is not included with the plate—it uses the printer's magnetic build platform.

Usage recommendations

1. Before the first print, remove any protective film from the PEY side.
2. In Bambu Studio or another slicer, select the profile corresponding to the surface being used.
3. Avoid touching the surface with your fingers whenever possible, as grease reduces adhesion.
4. Clean the plate regularly with warm water and dishwashing detergent; isopropyl alcohol can be used for ongoing degreasing.
5. Remove the finished print only after the plate has cooled, and use only gentle bending.
6. Due to the PEY surface, do not exceed the recommended build plate temperature of 90 °C.

Adhesion depends on the filament used, surface cleanliness, build plate temperature and correct first-layer settings. With materials that have very strong adhesion, a thin release layer may be suitable.
