The Weprinty double-sided textured PEI build plate is a practical replacement or additional build plate for Bambu Lab X1, X1 Carbon, X1E, P1P, P1S and A1. The plate dimensions correspond to the 256 × 256 mm build area of these printers.
Both sides feature a gold textured PEI surface. The ability to alternate the printing sides allows the surface to be used evenly and extends the plate's service life. The texture also creates an attractive finely grainy matte appearance on the underside of the model.
The PEI surface ensures good first-layer adhesion when the build plate temperature is set correctly. With common materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS or ASA, it is generally not necessary to use glue. With specific filaments, such as TPU, PC or PA, an adhesion aid can also serve as a release layer and protect the surface.
After printing is complete, allow the plate to cool down. Adhesion will decrease and the model can generally be removed easily. If necessary, simply bend the flexible steel plate slightly.
The integrated QR identification code supports build plate type recognition on compatible printers equipped with build plate detection. It helps reduce warnings about an incorrectly selected build plate and makes print preparation easier.
| Material | Recommended build plate temperature |
|---|---|
| PLA, PLA-CF, PLA-GF | 45–60 °C |
| PETG, PETG-CF | 60–80 °C |
| TPU | 35–45 °C |
| ABS, ASA | 90–100 °C |
| PET-CF | 80–100 °C |
| PC, PC-CF | 90–110 °C |
| PA, PA-CF, PAHT-CF | 90–110 °C |
Always adjust the specific settings according to the filament used, the model size and the operating conditions of the printer.
The plate is designed for:
It is not designed for the Bambu Lab A1 mini, which uses a smaller build plate format.
