Recommended Use

• Typical surface temperature: according to the material, commonly approx. 35–60 °C for PLA and 70–100+ °C for technical materials (according to the printer and filament manufacturer's recommendations).
• Surface preparation:
  • degrease with isopropyl alcohol before printing,
  • for more demanding materials, a thin layer of suitable adhesive (glue stick, special spray, etc.) can be used.
• Print removal:
  • let the plate cool down partially (often the model releases itself),
  • or remove the plate and gently bend it.

Maintenance and Lifespan

• Cleaning: after several prints, clean with IPA (isopropyl alcohol 90% and more). Avoid aggressive solvents that could damage the PEI coating.
• Mechanical stress: do not bend the plate beyond its natural elasticity to avoid permanent deformation.
• Tools: do not use sharp metal spatulas – they can damage the PEI coating. Most prints can be removed just by bending the plate.

With proper care, the plate offers a long lifespan and stable adhesion for many printing cycles.
