The assembly uses an integrated all‑metal design (nozzle + heatbreak), a new cooling unit, and a ceramic throat for a lower risk of clogging during frequent printing of engineering materials. The bimetal nozzle with a hardened steel tip ensures high resistance to abrasive filaments and precise orifice geometry even after long-term use.

Installation and maintenance

1. Turn off the printer and let the hotend cool down.
2. Disconnect the wiring according to the QIDI manual, release the hotend mount, and replace it with the new part.
3. After replacement, perform a first-layer calibration and verify flow.
4. For composites, use the recommended temperatures and dry the filament; clean the nozzle regularly.
