Prusa XL PP Print Sheet (PP powder-coated Print Sheet) is an original double-sided flexible steel sheet with a special PP powder-coated surface designed exclusively for the Original Prusa XL 3D printer. It is optimized for printing polypropylene materials (PP), which typically have poorer adhesion on standard textured or satin sheets.

Thanks to the special surface treatment, this sheet offers significantly higher adhesion for PP filaments (such as Prusament PP, PP CF, PP GF) and enables reliable printing of even large-volume parts without the need for glues or separation layers.

Recommended Use

Ideal Materials

Recommended Procedures

• Clean the sheet with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and let it dry before printing
• For PP materials, follow the nozzle and bed temperatures recommended by the filament manufacturer
• After printing, let the print cool down, then slightly bend the sheet for easy model removal

Materials for which another sheet is suitable

• For PLA, PETG, ASA/ABS, PC, PA, and other common technical materials, a smooth, textured, or satin PEI sheet is generally more suitable. On the PP sheet, these materials may hold poorly during printing or become detached.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Recommended cleaning:
  • Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a soft, lint-free cloth
• Prohibited agents:
  • Acetone – partially dissolves the surface, leaves stains, worsens adhesion, and reduces sheet lifespan
  • Coarse abrasive sponges or metal scrapers

The print sheet surface is a consumable item. Over time, visual changes may occur (print marks, shinier areas, small scratches). These cosmetic changes usually do not affect print quality and are not considered a defect.

The sheet is designed for the XL magnetic heatbed with integrated high Curie temperature magnets. This ensures firm attachment of the sheet during printing even at high temperatures.

Safety and Warnings

• Always ensure the sheet is sufficiently cooled when handling
• Do not use sharp metal tools to remove prints – risk of surface damage
• Do not use acetone or other aggressive solvents
• When replacing the sheet, ensure correct orientation and seating on the magnetic bed
