    Prusa Pro Filament Drybox

The Prusa Pro Filament Drybox is a specialized device designed to keep 3D printing filaments in optimal conditions during both printing and storage. This system is key to ensuring high print quality, especially when working with hygroscopic materials.

    Key features:

    • Active drying system: Uses silica gel for active moisture absorption inside the box.
    • Enclosed system: Prevents moisture ingress from the external environment.
    • Multifunctional use: Allows both storage and direct printing from the box.
    • Compatibility: Suitable for most standard filament spools.
    • Easy to use: Simple access to filament and easy silica gel replacement.

    How to use:

    1. Open the box by unlocking the two hinges on the top.
    2. Place the filament spool on the holder in the center of the box.
    3. Feed the filament through the white PTFE tube.
    4. Close the box and secure both hinges.
    5. Place the box near the printer.
    6. Load the filament into the printer and insert the PTFE tube into the opening.

    Recommendations for optimal use:

    • Dry the filament in a professional dryer before first use.
    • Regularly check the condition of the silica gel and replace or regenerate it as needed.
    • For maximum effectiveness, keep the box closed when not in use.

The Prusa Pro Filament Drybox is an essential accessory for anyone who wants to achieve consistently high 3D print quality, especially when working with moisture-sensitive materials. Investing in this device pays off in the form of better prints and longer filament lifespan.
