Prusa HT90 PP Powder-coated Print Sheet

Double-sided PP Powder-coated flexible steel print sheet designed exclusively for the Original Prusa Pro HT90 professional 3D printer. Thanks to its special lightly textured surface finish, it offers excellent adhesion for polypropylene materials, which are more difficult to maintain on standard textured sheets.

    Key Features

    • Compatibility: only with the Original Prusa Pro HT90 3D printer
    • Double-sided flexible steel sheet with special PP Powder-coated surface finish
    • Optimized for PP-based filaments, especially Prusament PP Carbon Fiber Black
    • Reliable adhesion even for large-scale PP prints – minimizing deformation and corner lifting
    • Lightly textured surface, similar to Prusa satin print sheets
    • No separation layer required (glues, sprays, etc.) with correct print settings
    • Also suitable for PLA, PETG, and TPU (according to Prusa recommendations) if you require specific surface properties
    • Quick release of models after cooling thanks to the flexible steel base
    • High dimensional accuracy and repeatability for serial production of functional PP parts

    Use and Recommendations

    Ideal for Materials

    • Polypropylene filaments (PP, including reinforced variants like PP-CF)
    • Selected technical materials where the manufacturer recommends a PP sheet for better adhesion
    • Possible use for PLA, PETG, TPU if the surface texture suits you

For other materials (e.g., some types of ABS, PA/nylon, etc.), poorer adhesion properties may occur – in such cases, it is better to choose a different type of print sheet (Textured, PA Nylon, or HighTemp for HT90).

    Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper care fundamentally affects both the lifespan and printing properties:

    • Standard cleaning: clean water, or water with a small amount of mild detergent
    • Removing grease and filament residues: soft non-abrasive cloth, lukewarm water with detergent
    • NEVER use acetone! Acetone damages the surface structure, can leave stains, and irreversibly worsen adhesion.
    • Do not use abrasive sponges, scrapers, or abrasive agents.

The surface is considered a consumable part – it may change visually over time (glossier or matte spots), which usually does not affect functionality and printing results.

Mounting on the Prusa Pro HT90 Printer

    • The print sheet is designed for the HT90 magnetic heated bed with integrated magnets
    • Simply place it on the heated bed, the cutouts and guide elements will ensure correct alignment
    • Before printing, make sure that:
      • the bottom side of the sheet and the surface of the heated bed are clean and free of filament residues
      • the sheet adheres well to the magnets across the entire surface

During the first installation or after changing the sheet type, it is recommended to perform a check/adjustment of the first layer calibration (Live Z), as different sheets may have different thicknesses.

    Typical Practical Use

    • Production of functional PP parts in industrial, laboratory, and prototyping environments
    • Chemically resistant components, covers, jigs, containers, sliding parts
    • Serial production of plastic components where repeatable first-layer quality and dimensional stability are required
    • Printing parts that utilize PP's resistance to moisture, chemicals, and material fatigue
