Product Description
Prusa CORE One L PA Nylon print sheet is an original, double-sided spring steel sheet with a special PA Nylon surface treatment designed for the large-format Prusa CORE One L printer.
Standard textured or satin sheets may have insufficient adhesion for polyamide filaments (PA, PA11, PA12, PA‑CF, etc.), leading to lifting corners or warping. This special PA Nylon sheet has a surface designed to:
- significantly increase the adhesion of nylon filaments,
- reduce curling and warping when printing large parts,
- allow repeated use without the need for glues or special adhesives (in most cases).
It is ideal for professional and industrial use where reliable printing of high-strength technical PA parts is expected from the CORE One L printer.
Key Features
- Original Prusa accessory – 100% compatibility with the Prusa CORE One L printer.
- Special surface for PA (Nylon) – optimized for polyamide materials, especially Prusament PA11 Carbon Fiber Black and other PA/PA‑CF.
- Double-sided spring steel sheet – long lifespan, easy removal of prints by bending the sheet.
- Powder-coated surface – scratch-resistant, suitable for repeated printing of technical parts.
- Strong magnets in the CORE One L bed keep the sheet firmly in place even at the higher temperatures required for PA.
- Designed for high temperatures used in nylon printing within the enclosed and heated chamber of the CORE One L printer.
Recommended Use
This print sheet is primarily intended for:
- PA (Nylon) – standard polyamide filaments,
- PA11 / PA12 – including carbon fiber blends,
- other polyamide composites, which generally have weaker adhesion on standard PEI/textured sheets.
For other materials (PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS, PC, PP, etc.), the manufacturer recommends using appropriate sheets (smooth, satin, textured, or PP/PC specific sheets). The PA Nylon sheet is a specialized surface and is recommended to be used mainly for PA.
Compatibility
- Compatible:
- 3D printer Prusa CORE One L.
- Incompatible:
- Prusa MINI / MINI+
- Original Prusa i3 MK2/MK2S/MK2.5/MK2.5S/MK3/MK3S/MK3S+/MK3.5/MK3.9/MK4/MK4S and MMU
- Prusa XL
- Prusa SL1/SL1S, and other resin printers
- any other 3D printers and non-original heatbeds.
Before purchasing, ensure you own the CORE One L model, not the CORE One / CORE One+ in the base size.
Usage and Maintenance Instructions
Preparation before printing
- The print sheet must be completely clean and degreased – even a small amount of grease from fingers can significantly reduce PA adhesion.
- Follow the recommended nozzle, bed, and chamber temperatures according to the used PA/PA‑CF material.
- Storing PA filaments in dry conditions (dry box, dryer) is advisable to limit moisture absorption.
Cleaning
- On the PA Nylon sheet, do not use acetone, IPA, or other alcohol-based or aggressive cleaners – they can irreversibly damage the special surface.
- Clean only with lukewarm water and a mild non-aggressive detergent, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth or paper towel.
- Do not use abrasive sponges, wire pads, or scouring powders.
Safe print removal
- After printing is finished, let the sheet cool down completely – as the temperature drops, the adhesion significantly decreases.
- Then remove the sheet from the printer and gently bend it; the print will usually detach itself.
- Never try to forcefully pry the print off with sharp metal tools – this risks damaging the surface.

Advantages for Professional Use
- Reliable printing of functional, load-bearing parts from PA/PA‑CF without compromising on adhesion.
- Fewer failed prints due to reduced risk of lifting corners and warping effect.
- Saves time and costs compared to improvised solutions (glue sticks, tapes, DIY garolite sheets, etc.).
- Suitable for low-volume production, technical prototypes, and final parts in demanding environments.
If you plan to regularly print nylon or PA composites on the Prusa CORE One L printer, the PA Nylon print sheet is a practically essential accessory for achieving repeatable and reliable results.
