Prof. Lab ASA Silver 1 kg is a technical 3D filament made of ASA material designed for functional parts and outdoor use. It offers high resistance to UV radiation, weathering and heat, low shrinkage and excellent dimensional stability. The silver shade is ideal for design and technical models, covers, brackets and automotive or machine components exposed to sun and rain.

Prof. Lab ASA Silver is a high-quality filament made of ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) in silver color, suitable for demanding technical and design prints. ASA is often perceived as a more modern alternative to ABS – it maintains high strength and thermal resistance, but offers better UV stability, higher weather resistance and lower shrinkage during printing.(smart3d.cz)
This makes this filament ideal for outdoor applications, electronics covers, components for the automotive and engineering industries, garden elements, brackets or functional prototypes that must withstand long-term exposure to sunlight, rain and temperature fluctuations.
Specific ideal settings may vary by printer, but for ASA the following values are commonly used:(richvalsky.cz)
The filament is intended for FFF/FDM 3D printers with a nozzle diameter of 0.4 mm and larger and support for temperatures in the range of approx. 240–260 °C. It is suitable for most common printer brands (Prusa, Creality, Anycubic, Bambu Lab, Voron, etc.) that can handle printing technical materials at higher temperatures.
The filament is wound on a standard spool with a net weight of 1 kg, vacuum packed with desiccant for protection against moisture (typical practice for ASA and technical filaments on the market).(smart3d.cz)
To maintain ideal properties, it is recommended to store the spool in a dry place, ideally in a closed box or drybox.
