Recommended use
Heat the nozzle to the temperature at which the material clogging the nozzle is printed (e.g., 200–220 °C for PLA).
Carefully unload the filament from the extruder.
Select the corresponding cleaning needle diameter (thin needle for fine cleaning, thicker needle with handle for larger clogs) and gently insert it into the nozzle.
Run the needle through the inside of the nozzle several times to loosen filament residues.
Clean external dirt and burnt plastic using the metal brush.
If necessary, use the nozzle wrench to loosen the nozzle and clean it outside the hotend.
After cleaning, re-insert the filament and perform a test extrusion.
Safety warning
Always work with increased caution – the nozzle and hotend block are very hot.
Cleaning needles are delicate and sharp – protect eyes and fingers.
Do not apply excessive pressure to avoid damaging the internal channel of the nozzle.
When using the nozzle wrench, ensure you do not over-tighten the thread in the hotend.
