Recommended Printing Parameters

• Nozzle temperature: 210–230 °C (typically around 215–220 °C)
• Bed temperature: 40–60 °C
• Printing speed: approx. 30–80 mm/s (PLA Silk generally looks better at medium speeds)
• Ventilation: 70–100 % (strong cooling for a nice surface and details)
• Enclosed chamber: not required
• Bed adhesion: usually no special glue is required, 3DLac / glue stick can be used for better adhesion if needed

We recommend storing the spool in a dry place before printing – although PLA Silk is relatively undemanding, lower humidity helps achieve a better surface.
