Transform your custom 3D print into a levitating tabletop decoration. The Magnetic Levitation DIY Kit B-ZC008 from Bambu Lab contains a base, a levitation module, and a power adapter. Simply design or print a suitable model and connect it to the levitation module.

What the kit can do

• Keeps a properly balanced model suspended in the air using magnetic levitation.
• Powers the levitation module’s lighting through electromagnetic induction, so no batteries are needed.
• The touch switch on the base cycles through three LED light modes: cool white, warm white, and warm yellow.
• Levitation is activated automatically when the module is correctly positioned above the center of the base.

Model weight and balance

The manufacturer specifies a nominal levitated model weight of 80 g, excluding the weight of the levitation module. With the center of gravity positioned correctly, the weight can reach approximately 200 g, again excluding the weight of the module.

Lower the model slowly and horizontally toward the center of the base. If the magnetic force pulls it to one side, lift it and adjust its position or balance. A well-positioned center of gravity makes it easier to find a stable position.
