Complete your 3D-printed lithophane image with custom LED backlighting. The Bambu Lab KC009 variant uses two modular LED boards for the 96 x 144 mm format. Each board has 48 LEDs, and the kit supports brightness adjustment by long press.

What prints the kit is intended for

The manufacturer specifies it for monochrome lithophanes with a frame and color lithophanes prepared in Make My Lithophane. For an assembly of two boards, it is designed for a lithophane measuring 106 x 156 mm including the border and with a thickness of 2,5-3,2 mm.

3D-printed parts shown in the product photos are not included.

Power supply and control

The boards operate at 5 V and 2 A. They use PH2.0 x 2 connectors. The included USB cable allows you to turn the backlight on and off, and the brightness can be adjusted by long press.

Tip for printing lithophanes

Bambu Lab recommends a 0,2 or 0,4 mm nozzle and a layer height of 0,08-0,12 mm. To limit print warping, it specifies a bed temperature of 45-50 °C.
