Use

Installation and maintenance

• Before replacement, turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply.
• Remove the toolhead cover according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Unscrew the original hotend fan and disconnect the connector.
• Connect the new fan to the same connector and screw it into the original position.
• Check that no cable or plastic part is interfering with the fan blades.
• After turning the printer back on, test the fan function by heating up the hotend.

For longer service life we recommend:

• regularly cleaning the area around the hotend from dust and filament residue,
• not blocking the fan while it is running and not handling it during operation,
• not operating the printer in extremely dusty or humid environments.
