Overview

HELLO3D PVA is a water-soluble support material for FDM/FFF 3D printing. It enables the printing of overhangs and cavities that would otherwise be impossible to support safely – after printing, the supports simply dissolve in water. This reduces post-processing and protects the surface of the prints.

• Nozzle temperature: 190–220 °C

• Retraction: off (Cancel Retraction) These parameters are based on the official specifications of the manufacturer HELLO3D. Adjust according to the printer, profile, and model geometry.

Storage and handling

PVA is significantly hygroscopic – always store in a dry place, ideally in a resealable bag/box with silica gel. Dry before printing if necessary (low temperature) for stable extrusion. The manufacturer supplies the material vacuum-packed with a desiccant bag; box approx. 215×205×70 mm.

Compatibility and use

• Typical use: automatically soluble supports for complex PLA prints, cavities, channels, and fine details.
• Recommendation: for a clean support interface, use a PVA interface and a model material support body (if the profile allows) and immerse the part in water after printing until the supports are completely dissolved.
