    Product Description

E3D Revo High-Temperature Abrasive nozzle 0.6 mm is a top-of-the-line nozzle designed for the E3D RapidChange Revo system, specifically developed for high-temperature and highly abrasive materials. It combines a copper nozzle body and a copper spreader for optimal heat transfer, both coated with Chromium Nitride. This coating increases corrosion resistance, improves surface non-stick properties, and allows printing up to 500 °C.

The nozzle has a diameter of 0.6 mm, which is ideal for faster printing of technical parts and fiber composites, where higher flow and good layer strength are required.

    Key Features

    • High-temperature design – up to 500 °C Allows printing of advanced technical filaments such as PEI/ULTEM, PEKK, PEKK/PEI, PA/PAHT, PPS, PC and their composite variants with carbon or glass fibers.
    • Abrasive design for composite materials The nozzle construction and surface finish are optimized for highly abrasive materials (e.g., CF/GL filled, glow-in-the-dark, with special fillers) to significantly extend service life compared to standard brass nozzles.
    • Chromium Nitride coating A thin hard coating ensures high hardness, wear resistance, and better surface slipperiness, which reduces material sticking to the nozzle and limits deposit formation.
    • Revo Quick-Change System The nozzle is supplied as a completely assembled nozzle + heatbreak unit, eliminating dangerous hot tightening. Nozzle replacement is possible cold, by hand, without tools, which significantly speeds up switching between different diameters and types of nozzles.
    • Optimal 0.6 mm diameter for technical parts The 0.6 mm diameter offers higher flow and shorter printing times compared to 0.4 mm, while maintaining sufficient precision for functional prototypes, jigs, and industrial parts.
    • Easy identification Revo HT-abrasive nozzles are color-coded (gray tone) and marked with an engraved diameter for quick visual identification.
    • Precise temperature control The copper body and spreader ensure uniform heat transfer and stable melt temperature, which is essential for repeatable print quality with demanding technical materials.

    Compatibility

The E3D Revo High-Temperature Abrasive 0.6 mm nozzle is intended for E3D RapidChange Revo system hotends with 1.75 mm filament, typically:

    • Revo Micro
    • Revo Six
    • Revo Voron
    • Revo CR
    • Revo Hemera XS
    • Revo Prusa MK3
    • Revo Prusa Mini
    • Revo MicroSwiss NG
    • Revo BIQU H2 V2 and other compatible Revo hotends

Note: When used with a standard 40W/60W Revo HeaterCore, the nozzle is usually temperature-limited to approximately 300 °C. For full use up to 500 °C, it is recommended to use the Revo High-Temperature Hotside / high-temp HeaterCore as per manufacturer recommendations.

    Typical Use

    • Printing highly abrasive composites: CF/GL reinforced nylon, PC, PEI/PEKK/PEEK blends
    • Printing technical parts requiring high temperature resistance and strength
    • Production of functional prototypes, jigs, assembly fixtures, small series
    • Situations where long-term dimensional stability and nozzle wear resistance are necessary

    Advantages over standard nozzles

    • Dramatically longer lifespan when printing abrasive materials
    • Possibility of printing at significantly higher temperatures than with standard hardened steel or brass nozzles
    • Safer and faster replacement thanks to Revo design (no hot tightening)
    • More consistent flow and fewer issues with temperature fluctuations, stringing, or clogging when printing technical filaments

    Package Contents

    • E3D Revo High-Temperature Abrasive nozzle 0.6 mm (with integrated heatbreak)

    Recommendations for Use

    • When switching from a standard Revo nozzle, check the correct nozzle diameter (0.6 mm) in the slicer and adjust the line width, layer height, and maximum flow according to the hotend manufacturer's recommendations.
    • For printing composite and high-temperature filaments, use a high-quality, enclosed printer with an appropriate hotend and chamber, if required by the material.
    • Always let the hotend cool down to the temperature recommended by the Revo system manufacturer (typically below 50 °C) before changing the nozzle.

    Key Features:

    • E3D Revo high-temperature nozzle for printing up to 500 °C (with high‑temp Hotside)
    • Abrasive design with Chromium Nitride coating for printing highly abrasive composite filaments
    • 0.6 mm diameter – higher flow and faster printing of technical parts
    • Fully compatible with E3D RapidChange Revo system (1.75 mm filament)
    • Integrated heatbreak – no dangerous hot tightening and minimal risk of leaks
    • Quick cold nozzle replacement, no tools needed
    • Optimized heat transfer thanks to copper body and spreader
    • Long life when printing carbon and glass filled, glow-in-the-dark, and other abrasive filaments
