Creality K3 – multi-color printing without lengthy purging

Creality K3 introduces the innovative KliTek™ system with four independent nozzles, allowing it to automatically change colors, materials, and nozzle diameters. Unlike conventional multi-color systems, it does not need to completely purge a shared nozzle with every change. The result is faster printing, cleaner transitions, and significantly lower filament consumption.

Four nozzles, new possibilities

Each of the four filament channels uses its own nozzle and hotend assembly. Nozzle switching takes only 4.8 seconds, while a complete material or color change takes approximately 15 seconds. Separate material paths also limit unwanted color mixing and reduce the amount of waste generated when cleaning the hotend.

Creality K3 is ideal for:

• multi-color decorative models,
• functional parts combining rigid and flexible components,
• printing with soluble or easily removable supports,
• prototyping from multiple materials,
• small-batch production with an emphasis on productivity.

Combine different nozzle diameters

The KliTek™ system allows you to switch between nozzles with diameters of 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 mm within a single project. A fine nozzle can print precise outer walls and small details, while a larger nozzle can quickly complete the infill. This provides an excellent balance between surface quality and overall print time.

Optimized for flexible filaments

The S-Drive™ feeding system and precisely controlled extruder make printing flexible materials easier. In the standard configuration, TPU 95A can be processed, while the appropriate multi-material kit also enables use of softer TPU 90A and TPU 85A variants. This allows you to combine a rigid body, flexible grips, seals, or soft protective elements in a single model.

High speed and precise CoreXY mechanics

The CoreXY kinematics achieve speeds of up to 500 mm/s and acceleration of up to 20 000 mm/s². The rigid frame limits vibrations during fast movements, and the nozzle repositioning accuracy after switching reaches below 25 μm. A network of 37 sensors monitors the printing process and tool changes.

Intelligent print monitoring

The integrated 720p camera with lighting enables remote monitoring of the print job. Before printing begins, it can check the build area and warn of objects or remnants of a previous model that could cause a collision.

Wide material support

In the basic configuration, the printer supports materials such as PLA, PETG, PET, PCTG, PLA-CF/GF, PETG-CF/GF, and TPU 95A. The optional top cover expands the range of applications to materials that require a more stable temperature environment, such as ABS, ASA, PC, PP, or PA. Appropriate accessories may be required for soluble supports and softer flexible materials.

Connected Creality ecosystem

Models can be transferred via USB, Wi-Fi, or Creality Cloud. Creality Print prepares multi-color and multi-material projects, assigns individual nozzles, and optimizes parameters for combining different materials and nozzle diameters. Creality K3 thus offers a modern workflow from model preparation to remote print initiation and monitoring.
