Creality K2 Pro double-sided build plate – gold PEI, 270 × 293 mm

The original double-sided gold PEI build plate from Creality is primarily designed for Creality K2 Pro, but thanks to its dimensions of 270 × 293 mm, it can also be used with other printers featuring a build plate of the same size.

The flexible steel plate with a matte PEI powder-coated surface on both sides guarantees excellent adhesion for a wide range of filaments while also enabling easy print removal after cooling – simply bend the plate slightly and the model will release without the need for scrapers and without the risk of damage.

• Double-sided PEI surface Both sides of the plate feature a matte, sandblasted PEI surface, so when one side becomes worn, simply turn the plate over and continue printing.

Compatibility

Recommended use

• Surface preparation
  • Remove the protective film before first use, if present.
  • Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) using a soft cloth to keep it free of grease.
• Print settings
  • Additional adhesives are usually not necessary for PLA and PETG.
  • For materials with higher shrinkage (ABS, ASA, PC, some PA), we recommend an enclosed chamber and suitable build plate temperature settings according to the filament manufacturer's recommendations.
• Print removal
  • After printing, allow the plate to cool partially – once the model “loosens”, remove the plate and bend it gently.
  • Do not use sharp metal scrapers, which could damage the PEI surface.
