The 3D Touch auto-leveling sensor is an alternative to the licensed BL Touch and is the most ideal option for all types of surfaces. With this sensor you can automatically level your print bed whether it’s a steel spring sheet, glass, mirror, or others. These sensors are most suitable for 3D printers with a large build area, as large aluminum heatbeds tend to warp when heated, and even applying glass sometimes cannot achieve a perfectly flat surface.

When installing the 3D Touch sensor, keep in mind that you need to insert the G29 command into the start GCODE for automatic leveling. Of course, the printer must also support this sensor in the firmware. In the firmware, it is ideal to choose at least a 4x4 grid of points for the sensor to probe.

The sensor also includes a long cable for connection to the board.
