Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ is a premium PLA filament developed for demanding, mechanically stressed parts. It combines very high toughness and impact resistance with the simplicity of printing classic PLA, making it an ideal choice for users who want to stick with PLA but need significantly more durable parts.

This Refill variant (without a plastic spool) is intended for use on a reusable Bambu spool. It saves space, reduces waste volume, and is convenient for use in the Bambu AMS as well as in standard FDM printers with a filament diameter of 1.75 mm.

Printing recommendations

Specific settings may vary depending on the printer, nozzle, and cooling. The values below are based on manufacturer recommendations.

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 220–240 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 35–45 °C
• Cooling: medium to high (typically 70–100 % after the first layers)
• Printing speed: standard to higher FDM printing speeds (e.g., 80–200 mm/s for fast printers)
• Print bed: textured PEI, smooth PEI, or other surface treatment suitable for PLA

The filament is fully compatible with Bambu Lab printers (including AMS) and can also be used in other FDM 3D printers with a filament diameter of 1.75 mm.
